Mjolnir, Thor's Hammer

I enjoy watching Marvel movies so I thought it would be cool to create a prop from one of the movies. I started off with a rectangular block of wood and used the sander to shave down the corners of the block of wood to create the shape of the hammer. This took me significantly longer than expected because it was hard to get each corner to be the same shape. Then, I made the handle with a rectangular piece of wood and used the sander to make it round.

For the details, I used a chisel to make the details on the handle and carved Nordic letters which spell "Mavel" at the bottom of the hammer.

Overall, it was a very fun project to make because I finished it in about a day and it's a cool project to display in my room.
